Long, billowing, transparent silk delicately draped in a slightly ruffled manner along a long table or hand made macrame threaded detail…there are so many different options for table runners that you can DIY easily or buy but feature in a creative way that is a little bit different and unique.
Finding a favourite fabric and featuring it by cutting it down and sewing it yourself with fringe detail is another way to feature your desired colour scheme in the reception area and what many end up featuring their entire colour choices around. The pattern can be repeated on to menu’s, name cards and cushions… the options are endless.
Here are some of our favourite table runner ideas – enjoy x

Note: We love this look which could be used for a long table banquet dinner. Instead of putting the flower arrangement down the long middle of the table – instead it can section off parts of a long table which sets a barrier. For example, for sharing of banquet food (if there were for example two platters per 4 people on a 8 person table) without it being a full on barrier and where people still can converse.
